DOVER, Del. — A child who recently traveled from Liberia is being monitored by Bayhealth Kent General Hospital staff after displaying Ebola-like symptoms on Saturday, reports say.

NBC Philadelphia reports:

“After the assessment, and out of an abundance of caution, the child was admitted to a private isolation room and all CDC guidelines regarding specimen collection, transport, testing and submission for person under investigation for Ebola are being followed,” a Bayhealth spokesman wrote in a released statement.

The hospital notified the State of Delaware Office of Infectious Disease who then notified the CDC.

Interestingly enough, this is the fourth reported case in which the CDC has decided not to test, citing how the likelihood is rather “low” the child has Ebola.

Hello! Excuse me! Rather low! WTF is the CDC thinking.

As of now it’s speculated by myself and others that the CDC is lying and that many patients have likely been admitted into hospitals and indeed tests have been conducted. Likely the CDC is keeping a low profile of what is really going on and silencing the actual extent of the spread or possible spread.

“According to the hospital, because the child is past the 21 day maximum incubation period the CDC has determined that the likelihood of Ebola infection is extremely low and declined to test the child.”, reported ABC 6.
